Welcome to South Africa, the home of our Rosslyn plant ever since 1973. In our very first plant outside of Europe, more than 3,000 colleagues put their hearts and souls into the production of our latest BMW X3. To us, sustainability counts big which is why 25-30% of the electricity used for our plant operations comes from renewable sources. On top of that, the 1989 established BMW Plant Rosslyn Choir fosters team spirit while combining African culture with work. The choir even records its own studio albums.

Our modern Midrand Campus, located between Pretoria and Johannesburg, is home to over 600 colleagues working in the headquarters of the BMW Group South Africa. Our colleagues of the South African BMW Group Financial Services branch and of the Training Academy are also based at the Midrand Campus. This multicultural and friendly environment is the fundament of a balanced work-life.
