IT System and Application Specialist

We want to keep driving towards the future, so our team is currently seeking an IT system and application specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen.
As an IT System and Application Specialist you’re responsible for the correct and smooth operation and configuration of all related applications and the related hardware, such as, Plant Server, Production Clients (Teststands in the Production area) and Wireless Interfaces (Client – Vehicle Communication).
What awaits you?
- Improving and modifying the E/E (Electric / Electronics) testing and commissioning applications.
- Managing daily questions and challenges referring to the systems and applications you’re responsible for.
- Monitoring that all requirements on applications are resolved and ensure that sustainable solutions are integrated.
- Keeping the configuration of the systems up to date.
- Being responsible for the availability and capability of E/E test stands in the production process.
- Being the first point of contact for assembly partners as well as partners in the headquarters
What should you bring along?
- Master or Bachelor degree in Computer science, IT or Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in System development (programming JAVA, C++, XML), relation of databases (SQL), Network Administration, Shell script, IT Operations tools such as ITSM.
- Experience with Computer Hardware, Operation Systems, Windows Clients.
- Infrastructure components (Oracle, MQS, WiFi, Ethernet), Big Data Analysis/ Reporting Tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Open mindset and willingness to learn.
- High level of proven fluent English skills in speaking and writing. Hungarian and German language knowledge would be an advantage.
