We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of autonomous driving. For autonomous driving maneuvers, a robust and accurate model of the current dynamic environment is required. Through data fusion of various sensor measurements, a consistent environmental model including static obstacles and other road users is generated.
What awaits you?
- You will be involved in the development of new methods for environmental perception and the tracking of dynamic objects.
- You will also support the design, implementation, testing and evaluation of new algorithms.
What should you bring along?
- Study of electrical/ information technology, computer science, robotics, or a comparable technical degree program.
- Programming skills and experience in C++.
- Experience in one of the following areas is desirable: sensor data processing, probabilistic robotics, artificial intelligence, state estimation, object tracking.
- Good German and English language skills in written and spoken form.
- Team and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Independent work.
