Quality Management Parts Coordinator - High Voltage Battery Housing & Stamping

What awaits you?

 

  • Perform supplier pre-selection evaluations, support or/and lead 360° evaluations, perform preventive quality evaluations during nomination processes.
  • Enable, steer, develop, manage and shape nominated suppliers of high voltage HV Battery components i.E. Housing, Injection Plastic and Foam components, Stamping and Progressive Stamping components (requiring automatic welding processes and surface treatment) including greenfield / brownfield suppliers of e-mobility components located in Mexico.
  • Ensure on-time industrialization of suppliers of the assigned components.
  • Define and agree reliability indicators as well as relevant critical characteristics to ensure quality standards.
  • Responsible of solving all problems related to the component's manufacturing processes, as well as ensuring its quality and documenting all measures from the project launch until end of production (PQM, iPQ, etc.).
  • Ensure parts availability for all relevant build phases and events of BMW project launches.
  • Successfully execute the process series before SOP with the suppliers.
  • Manage the part approval process and ISIR releases for the assigned supplier and parts.
  • Define the root cause and the sustainable solution to problems together with the supplier.
  • Control, manage and implement actions to achieve defined KPIs e.g., PPM / Tecsa targets.
  • Guarantee launch team integration with the responsible QMT from the BMW plants regarding operational work, execution of pre-series, attainment DOC, assurance of ramp up curve, stabilization of quality levels of series products and integrating decisions, measures and agreements made with suppliers.
  • Establish constant and pro-actively communication and feedback of the project to process partners and management.
  • Constantly prepare status and strategical presentations of the projects assigned.

 

What should you bring along?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred). 
  • Excellent knowledge in Quality- and Project Management.
  • Know how in Industrializing Supplier's Production.
  • High ability to handle high complex and high number of topics and issues.
  • Strong personality.
  • Strong in negotiation and moderation internally as well as externally.
  • Fluent English level.
  • German is a plus.
  • Willing to travel on a regular sometimes weekly base.
  • Excellent team and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Analytical and structural way of thinking.
  • Structural way of communicating and structured principle of operation and task administration.
