International Exterior QMT Intern (Spring 2025)

Description - 

The intern will be working on department KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator), quality activities workshops, support back office data input and reporting.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Present status in meetings with appropriate documentation.
• Work to support Buyer/(QMT) Quality Management of Parts Industrialization.
• Identify process partners within Plant Spartanburg and the tasks they complete.
• Follow up on overdues.
• Reviewing quality topics, data analysis.
• Follow up on measures at suppliers.
• Assist Purchasing and Quality specialists as needed.
• Support Initial buy off of single parts for Injection Molds.
• Gauge R & R.
• Follow up on Paint testing approvals from series location.
• Support build phase parts buy off, Pre- process series, process series.
• IPQ support inputting documentation. 

Qualifications -

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• MS Office, Excel, Power Point knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Project and Visio preferred.
• Experience in steering events and meetings preferred.
• Experience/Knowledge in automotive industry or productions system preferred.
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
