As a Lead Fire Prevention Specialist, at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

 

What awaits you?

 

  • Acting as contact person for all questions of fire protection in regard to planned new buildings and extensions as well as advising internally on all questions of structural, technical and organizational fire protection.
  • Conducting fire protection inspections and instruct employees on the subject of fire protection and evacuation just as developing local standards and regulations.
  • Supporting the local crisis management team in emergency cases and workout crisis scenarios.
  • Supervisioning the site, property and supporting the property and the necessary documentation.
  • Administrating the database of the fire extinguishing system and responsibility for all questions concerning the management of fire extinguishing systems.
  • Coordinating relations with representatives of the approval authorities, insurance agencies and external planners.

 

What should you bring along?

 

  • Fire Protection Engineering degree or Engineering degree combined with high level of fire prevention qualification, according to 9/2015. (III.25.) BM ordinance.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in fire protection planning and clarification of complex fire protection relevant issues, also knowledge of extinguishing system technologies.
  • Project management experience, good analytical skills; independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working; ability to work in a team and assertiveness.
  • Willingness participate in trainings for short periods (up to 4 weeks) at other European BMW Group locations.
  • Working proficiency in English and Hungarian, and driving license B are required.
