Description

The key objectives of this position are to further innovation development at BMW with a focus on a  digitalization strategy.  The strategy focuses on Generative AI & Data, Robotics & Automation, and Virtualization. The position also may utilize analytical, statistical and programing skills to discover insights from structured and unstructured data to help shape or meet specific business needs and goals.

 

The qualified Co-Op should be expected to assist and improve:

  • Leading and facilitating activities or projects.
  • Project management and status reporting to ensure the expected results are delivered.
  • Sharing learned knowledge and experience with others who are growing their competencies.
  • Assists cross-functional departments with processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Generative AI – Prompt Engineering
  • Robotics & Automation: Project Management and technical support
  • Virtualization: Evaluate and determine best services, equipment, software for the future.
  • Prepare and gain confidence and competence to deliver related training content.
  • Prepare and gain confident to offer subject-matter consultation.

 

Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Equivalent of 3.0 GPA.
  • Successful completion of previous internship/working student assignment within the BMW group (3-month period minimum).
