Description

This is a full-time internship position for our Spring Rotation, from January 13, 2025 through May 16, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

Intern will support team engineers in various project tasks as needed. Major emphasis of the role will be in supporting Android App Development and validation of pre-production software and hardware.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of existing Android based App, including feature development, UI Design, code review and GitManagement

  • Execute US-specific validation for assigned components and/or feature set and report results to BMW engineering using the standard BMW reporting tools (e.g. Brian, Octane, Jira) and other agreed methods

  • Support competitor vehicle benchmarking by performing assessments and compiling reports with aggregated feedback of team members with prospecitve new requirements submission

  • Upkeep of Test Rack equipment including flashing, coding and hardware replacement

 

 

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university 

Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

Have completed at least 60 college credit hours at time of application 

Field of study: Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical)

Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript

Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)

Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)

Proficiency in Android Studio, Java, C++ or React

Valid driver's license

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90

The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80
