We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the field of Generative AI Models for 3D Geometry Generation in the context of the state-funded research project Diffus3D. Are you ready to shape the future of vehicle design by developing Generative AI models with real-world applicability?

What awaits you?

• Gaining insights in the data-driven vehicle design process at BMW.
• Developing and improving Visual Deep Generative Models for real-world engineering design applications.
• Investigating compute-efficient mechanisms for conditioning and guidance of Multi-View Image Generation Models.
• Contributing to a state-funded research project.
• Contributing to a publication the field of 3D Generative Models.

What should you bring along? 

• Enrollment in Master Studies (or advanced phase of Bachelor studies) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, or comparable program.
• Knowledge and practical experience in machine learning and deep learning.
• Familiarity with Deep Generative Model architectures like Diffusion Models.
• Sophisticated experience with PyTorch and parallelized GPU-computing.
• Experience in software development on Linux and version control with GitHub.
• Ideally experience with video-generation models and 3D-reconstruction.
• Fluent in spoken and written English (German optional).
