Metrology Co-op (Summer 2025)

Description
The student will support the Metrologists on the team with various projects such as, but not limited to process improvement of inline metrology applications, design of measurement processes, and statistical analysis of data. Other smaller projects could include CAD design work in CATIA and Python script writing for automation.
The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Manage and steer assigned projects
- Help to integrate new launch vehicles into production through process design
- Design measurement processes for automated robot cells
- Working with a team to do root-cause analysis on technical solutions
- Support process engineers in improving product knowledge across the team
- Design measurement processes and programs
- Project Management for Laser Radar Measurement Stations
- New vehicle integration projects
Qualifications
- Full time student pursuing a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Interest in utilizing statistical tools to analyze large data sets is preferred.
- Writing code, robotics, or metrology experience is a plus.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Must commit to three co-op rotations.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
