Support the Parts Integration Specialist (IPT) and the Project Manager with launch related activities of current and upcoming Plant 10 Projects.

 

 The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

  • Maintain milestone plans, content overviews, and other planning documents related to project launches
  • Generate the parts integration status presentation regularly
  • Arrange and steer multi-department project meetings including supporting topic resolution as appropriate

 

Projects:

    • Optimization of current BMW processes & tools using Oracle APEX, RPA Bots, etc.
    • Lead Data Analytics Initiative to evaluate previous launches and implement improvements for future Plant 10 Projects
    • Improvement of prototype build list management (i.e. VBA)
    • Development of future BMW systems and/or KPI dashboards
Qualifications:
  • Industrial Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, Logistics/Operations Management, Business, International Business
  • Microsoft Office Suite (experience in Excel/PowerPoint, preferred experoence in Power BI)
  • Preferred previous Programming Experience (VBA, Matlab, R, Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE: May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
