The Role

All Rolls-Royce Motor Cars feature the ultimate ‘piano finish’ paint specification as standard. The spectrum of colours and exterior finish of our customer’s cars is beyond most people’s imagination of what is possible.

The colour of a vehicle has a powerful impact. The greatest demands are made of the exterior surface centre to ensure that the highest standards are met.

Sustainability and our impact on the environment are important considerations. This is on top of pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Simultaneously coating and painting materials such as aluminium, steel and composites is illustrative of the sophisticated work that our team accomplish.

You will complete training in college, as well as on site. This is where you learn from our team of experts on the following topics:

  • Machine maintenance
  • Mechanical and electrical robotic systems
  • Online & offline robot programming
  • Control planning
  • Paint & material science
  • Fault finding and repair

We have an exciting site expansion underway and the talent that we develop within the team will work across both robot programming and maintenance. This is a new apprenticeship which will be adapted to suit the skills and potential of the successful candidate (s).
