We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of electromobility. Our cross-disciplinary team of battery cell experts is working on evaluating of next-generation-technology battery modules, cells, and subcomponents for automotive use. 

What awaits you?

• You will get a great insight into the current state of development and production of All-Solid-State-Battery (ASSB) cells.
• Additionally, you will experience the working method of an electrode and cell production team.
• You will support the commissioning of the machines for electrode production on site.
• The main working tasks include the development of individual workpiece carriers for use in our ASSB production line (technical drawing, CAD model, production of prototypes, e.g. using 3D printing). 

What should you bring along? 

• University degree in the field of engineering, chemical engineering, materials sciences, chemistry, or a comparable field of study.
• Basic knowledge of working with technical drawings, CAD models, and 3D printing.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of battery cells.
• First practical experience with working in a laboratory and in the field of electrode production desirable.
• Analytical thinking and an independent way of working.
