WHAT AWAITS YOU.

  • Conducts strategic partnering efforts for new clients in targeted business and industry sectors, as well as within the BMW Group leveraging extensive knowledge and experience to enhance Designworks’ reputation as a leading global competitor of cutting-edge designs and business partnerships.
  • Prospects and searches for new business opportunities with new clients in the assigned regions and market sectors.
  • Expands business networks and knowledge for new customer engagements, and new types of engagements locally while in alignment with global counterparts, leading to entering relationships with organizations that complement our strategic objectives, service offerings, and value system.
  • Investigates new business model possibilities and proposes different working partnerships.
  • Drives the strategic direction to maximize quality and value while growing the business relationships.
  • Manages new client relations (conflict management, client entertainment, maintain contact database, contract management), research target client strategies, and defines project/client scope potential.
  • Contributes to cross-studio continuous alignment for effective collaboration, consulting on global and local account strategies and status and plan for each major 3rd party account.
  • Attends conferences, tradeshows, and other networking events building new relationships and leads.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

  • Exceptional sales skills and the ability to comfortably speak to the value of design and design services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or design. Master’s degree preferred (MBA or hybrid business degree).
  • 7 – 10 years of business development or related experience in a similar industry. 
  • 1 – 2 years of team leadership experience. 
  • Deep understanding of business context (structures, market, business structures and technology implications).
  • An extended business network.
  • Expertise in financial implications of creativity.
  • Strong computer and software skills in Microsoft Office.

Relocation is available for this position. 

 

This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.

 

The expected salary range for this position is $118,403.00 - $130,000.00.

 

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
