What awaits you?
• Provide TWA technology material analysis to process partners, focusing on failure analysis in parts and production process.
• Support PMP problem management process, leading containment development and evaluation of countermeasures.
• Manage the complete process of calibration and maintenance of equipment under your responsibility, from planning and the purchase process to completion. Properly document to the calibration management system.
• Provide technical guidance, support and advise team members with expertise, analysis, and report releases.
• Ensure the continuous improvements for processes, methods, and tools within your area of responsibility.
• Conduct tests and investigations using material testing methods and analysis possibilities, including, but not limited to:
o X-ray analysis (2D / 3D).
o Microscopy investigation.
o Metallography.
o Hardness testing.
o Tensile testing.
o Component and part testing.
o Fastening analysis.
o Squeaks and rattle validation on components.
o Data analysis and statistic methods.
• Ensure the continuous improvements for processes, methods, and tools within your area of responsibility.
• Document all training materials and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
What should you bring along?
• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Materials Science, Metallurgical , Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Engineering, Product Development, Material Analysis, or Manufacturing Quality in an automotive manufacturing company such as OEM, TIER 1 or TIER 2.
• 3+ years hands on experience of laboratory-based material analysis or in a laboratory environment.
• Experience level of problem solving and use of quality tools.
• Advanced knowledge on material technologies, testing, analysis techniques, , materials properties, including mechanical, electrical, thermal, and chemical properties, materials testing and characterization techniques, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and mechanical testing.
• Fluency in English
