Description

The BMW Motorrad Intern will support the entire BMW Motorrad Team respectively in the Sales, After sales, Marketing and Retailer Development business fields.

The intern will report directly to the Director, BMW Motorrad Canada.

 

Responsibilites

  • Collection and reporting of Market and Retailer Network Sales performance information (Weekly dealer forecasts, market share, retail registrations, wholesales, incoming orders, Retailers demo and display motorcycles, competitive environment).
  • Develop, manage, and/or support the maintenance of reporting mechanisms.
  • Work closely on different topics with the Sales, After sales, Marketing and Retailer Development Managers, analyze existing business processes and suggestions for possible improvements.
  • Reporting of BMW Motorrad Canada digital performance (leads, web traffic, configurations).
  • Reporting of budgets in close alignment with the Director, and Marketing and Retailer Development Managers.
  • Support the auditing of Retailers on specific bonus requirements (website, social media and newsletter activations, training completion, customer data quality, customer issue management).
  • Support the communication and organization of events (BMW Motorrad customer events and Retailer on site / virtual meetings).
  • Learn to work with creative and media agencies through micro digital campaigns.
  • Prepare and deploy Retailers communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • In progress or recent completion of a College or University degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Very strong organization, project management, communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to own projects from start to finish and adhere to strict deadlines. 
  • Advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.  Additional computer systems (e.g: SAP, Tableau) would be considered as an asset.
  • Ability to build clear and impactful presentations. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fun, but fast-paced, work-intensive environment with multiple contacts and/or .
  • Proactive, problem solver, able to make decisions.
  • Strong interest in the automotive/motorcycle industry.  Motorcycle license and/or experience is highly regarded.
  • Willingness to learn, sense of responsibility, team orientation and openness.
  • Bilingual in French considered as an asset.
