





International Transportation Management Intern ( Fall 2025)

Description:
We connect the network with integrated supply chain solutions to safeguard production. Ensuring parts supply at the right time, right place, quantity and quality for continuous production. The Focus of our department is Material Control, Transportation Control and Delivery Assurance. We are the Gatekeepers of the supply chain for the ultimate driving machine.
The qualified Intern should be expected to assist and contribute:
- Support department in all Transportation Projects (Operational, Contract Management, Returnable Container Steering, Reporting Sea- and Air freight)
- Troubleshoot upstream process partner errors that impact department’s performance
- Conducts data processing in SAP, SQL, Power BI, i.e. running weekly and daily reports (may include data mining, creating and maintaining visualization tools, etc.)
- Assist JIT/JIS and SCM Project Leads
- Facilitate weekly Transportation team meeting
- Ensure training documents and department website are up to date
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have completed (or is in the process of receiving) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus).
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale
- Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
- Must have completed a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months in length
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- Work term dates are from September 22, 2025 to March 06, 2026.
