International Delivery Assurance International Intern (Fall 2025)

Description  

• Support onsite supplier logistics production to assure the supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series by using efficient problem-solving processes.

Assigned Duties:

• Supplier requalification: support team with project management tasks including KPI reporting and status reports as well as 8D and FMEA.
• Wrong delivery prevention: analyzing data from 8D and FMEA to derive concrete solutions to address main contributors.
• LQS competency concept: support team with development of i-Learn classes and tracking of training completion.
• Reporting of KPI: conducts data processing in SAP. SQL, Power BI i.e. running weekly and daily reports. May include data mining, creating and maintaining visualization tools, etc.
• Supplier communication: support team with development.
• Maintain electronic team board as key use.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have completed (or will be an upperclassman by credit hours) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with. Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus)
• Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred)
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Effective communication skills
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale
• Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term..
• Must have completed a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months in length.
• Work term dates are from September 22, 2025 to March 06, 2026.
