Launch Trainer (Talent Pool)
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting TX-R-45 with the Launch and special vehicles Assembly within the agreed objectives (quality, cost, quantity, on-time delivery).
Responsible for supporting TX-R-45 with the required operations and for operating equipment.
Responsible for supporting TX-R-45 with the F2-responsibility for the Launch and special vehicles Assembly.
Responsible for supporting TX-R-45 with all activities regarding Launch and special vehicle projects from F0 to F2 including reaching the project targets and implements measures for ensuring the production targets based on the escalation principles.
Responsible for supporting TX-R-45 and the product line (Lx) with the technical integration of the car derivatives run-ups (x) by further advancing the targets of the production concept and the product design in the plant network.
Responsible to develop all necessary training material and fully train all Assembly Associates on the theoretical and practical aspects of how to assemble the new car, ensuring their competence.
Responsible to monitor, track and report the training status for their area.
Ensure the maintenance of all training material and tools as changes occur.
Responsible to support the trained Associates to build the first cars (T Cars) and later as volume ramps up.
Responsible to train the Offline Reworkers on the product to ensure effectiveness of reworking.
Responsible for Offline rework support when required.
Qualification and Experience
National Diploma – Technical Trade Test and N6.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive or related field.
Detailed product experience.
Production experience.
Knowledge of BMW systems, processes and requirements.
Team / project leadership skills
