Safety Intern (FALL 2025)

The Hospitality Planning Intern will: 

• Assist in planning, directing and control of food service operation resulting in a positive dining and market experience for all associates and contractors.
• Assist in ensuring that BMW Food Service procedures are adhered to.
• Support Food Service specialist thru auditing and enforcing that food service contract is followed by vendor.

• Shadow Food Service specialist in audits and meetings with vendor. 
• Work with vendor to review work orders that need to be entered in Corrigo and with equipment repair company.
• Identify and prioritize items needed to run food service operation efficiently.
• Target Management. 
• Refrigeration Data Base Log.
• Create KPI audit form and grading system based on contract.

• Majoring in Food Service Management, Food Safety, or Hospitality Management.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Microsoft OIffice skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 11th-December 12th, 2025.
