“Education is the most powerful weapon you can choose to change the world” – That’s why we support the development of our associate’s children, and make sure they even afterwards receive the best fitting education, tailored to their talents. The ELC is a registered independent preschool, that follows the National Curriculum and is directly located at Plant Rosslyn, in Pretoria. Your child can join the classes at the age of three until maximum six, right before going off to primary school. Our teachers and assistants averagely take care of approximately 60 - 80 children from 7am - 5pm, where they have activities, lunch and time to nap.

A holistic approach to the wellbeing of employees contributes to a healthy and productive workforce. The onsite Health Management clinic at Plant Rosslyn provides access to free Primary and Occupational Healthcare services as well as an Employee Assistance Programme. Other services include: Dentistry, Physiotherapy, a Dietician and a Pharmacy as well as ongoing prevention and awareness campaigns to educate our associates on physical, mental and financial wellness topics and constantly support them and their families with open topics and questions. Our clinic services are available for all associates, whenever production is scheduled.

Biokinetics, the study of movement of the human body, is an integral part of monitoring health. Various tasks in the plant have been identified as being physically demanding, and the Occupational Health Service has developed a proactive programme in order to reduce the impact of these tasks on health, well-being and safety of all associates. The onsite 80 square meter facility boasts gym equipment to provide cardiovascular as well as various machines to strengthen muscle groups and test muscular functions. Our biokineticists and physiotherapists are always available to provide expert care and advice to all of our associates.
