What does it mean for you?
- Implementation of the communications strategy for BMW Group in the Middle East as approved and adapted to markets’ needs.
- Responsible to define and deliver a coherent communications plan across a variety of Media for BMW Group its business units and its brands for the countries of the Middle East Region to successfully launch BMW and MINI products.
- Initiate and monitor quantitative and qualitative Media Evaluation and provide ongoing feedback for necessary adjustment of the communications strategy.
- Responsible for steering the budget and forecast and monitor costs and activities including regular delivery of key data for the central forecast and budgeting process.
- Responsible to ensure that communication of the BMW Middle East Office and the Importer markets are in line with the Company’s strategic communication approach.
- Act as a spokesperson for BMW Group and its brands in the Middle East; provides briefings, materials, and side events.
- Develop and manage first line stakeholder relationships (media, authorities, public, opinion leaders, key influentials, associations) etc.
What you need to bring along?
- Master’s degree in communication/ marketing/ media and/ or similar disciplines
- With atleast 10 years’ experience with minimum 5 years in a corporate communications management position in a multinational company. Experienced in the Middle East Region is a must.
- Ability to steer at both strategic and tactical level, with a strong target orientation.
- Ability to lead across levels, be a role model and a skilled integrator.
- Ability to harness the strength of diversity and possesses a distinct intercultural understanding.
