BMW Group Plant Debrecen.

June 1, 2022, signified a landmark event as we celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for our BMW Group Plant Debrecen. As one of the largest construction projects in all of Central Eastern Europe, the plant is set to begin production in 2025. We have made significant progress over the past year, thanks to our meticulous planning processes and efficient construction methods.

By the end of 2023, we have opened our Communication Centre, which will serve as the central hub of our operations, and the Training Centre where we welcomed the first group of technician students in September. 

At BMW Group Plant Debrecen, we recognize the critical role that sustainability plays in our operations. That's why we've made it a top priority to implement sustainable practices at every step of our construction process. We are pre-casting columns near the site to minimize transportation emissions, practicing selective waste management, and planning to plant approximately 4,500 trees. Furthermore, we are currently developing a biodiversity strategy that aims to maintain a harmonious relationship with the local ecosystem.

Our team is experiencing rapid expansion, with our workforce having quadrupled during 2023. This growth is ongoing as we actively recruit for both blue-collar and white-collar positions to support our expanding operations.

The health and well-being of our employees are one of our top priorities. To ensure their welfare, we have established a dedicated Health Centre that provides comprehensive healthcare services and promotes general well-being. 

In addition to prioritizing employee health, we are actively engaged with the local community through various initiatives and events.
