"Our job is not about theory! Because our work offers us the opportunity to experience the latest technology and the business models, we provide legal advice for first-hand. Just recently, we had to evaluate the legal challenges in connection with the BMW M Mixed Reality. This is a driver training where you – in real life – drive a BMW M4 on a closed track. A VR headset simultaneously transports the driver to a virtual city circuit, blurring the boundaries between technology and reality.

In our daily work, it is important to not only consider the legal aspects, but also to understand the technical background. That's why we visited the BMW M Driving Experience in Maisach and participated in the mixed reality driver training ourselves. The experience was unforgettable. During the training, we were able to not only experience the technology up close, but also better understand its challenges and possibilities. It was impressive to see how the different elements of the mixed reality technology work together to create an immersive driving experience.

For our work, it was also important to understand the customer experience. Through the practical application, we were able to much more clearly identify and ultimately better assess the legal issues arising from this innovative technology."
