We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of Android Automotive Software Development. Our team works on an Android application for BMW's next-generation infotainment system. This application displays Assisted Driving information to the driver, visualizing what the car is doing at any given moment. Join us and contribute to one of the most visible and widely-used features that gets shipped directly to the cars.
What awaits you?
- As part of your role, you will implement tools to support the daily workflow of the team.
- You will enrich our screenshot test suite with additional test cases containing real-world scenarios.
- Opportunity to work on a bigger research-oriented project aiming to integrate an industry-standard 3D graphics solution with the app.
What should you bring along?
- Seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Kotlin, Java, Python).
- Fundamental understanding of Android app development.
- First experience with 3D graphics engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is beneficial.
- Analytical thinking and passion for learning.
- Fluency in German or English.
