APPLICATION TIPS – STUDENTS.

You no longer need a cover letter for your application, but show us who you are and what makes you tick. So make sure your CV is complete and feel free to add any unusual hobbies. For example, if you like to take pictures privately or shoot videos and apply for a marketing position, it is worth mentioning this in your application.

Please note that we are currently advertising all vacancies for students in the Job Finder. The “Apply Now” field takes you directly to your personal candidate profile, with which you can then apply online for the respective position.

In any case, please add the following attachments to your online application in addition to the usual documents:

  • Current certificate of enrolment
  • Graduation certificate or current transcript of records
  • Internet link to the examination regulations for your degree programme (if you are applying for a voluntary and compulsory internship)
  • A valid residence and work permit, if applicable

Further application tips and information on the required documents for the individual entry types can be found on our overview page for students.

Our rule of thumb: Apply around 4 months before the desired entry date. However, depending on the type of entry, there are always short-term vacancies available – so it’s worth taking a look!

Selection process.

If you are applying for an internship, a working student job or a final thesis, the selection will only be made in the respective department. Neither an assessment centre nor an online test await you, but we will instead conduct an interview. Here, based on an interview guide specially tailored to the position as well as biography-oriented and by using small case descriptions, we check whether you fit to us and the position. During the conversation, we of course also give you space to ask us all your open questions and, if necessary, discuss framework conditions such as possible entry dates and the like. The goal is that at the end of the conversation we all have enough information to make a decision.

By the way: The interview can take place on-site, by phone or via Teams, depending on where you live and how difficult it would be to get there. Please note: Unfortunately, no reimbursement of costs can be made. If an on-site interview would incur costs for you, please let us know in advance so that we can find an alternative together.

If you apply for several positions, you can of course expect several interviews in the different departments if you are suitable. However, you only need to create a candidate profile once.

We wish you every success with your application and look forward to you!
